I now have an electric car! Its a 2000 Corbin Sparrow (VIN #70). I purchased it used off Ebay. It had some problems when I got it, but I fixed it up, and it's a fun car to drive!

Funny looking, aint it? I get a LOT of comments on this car when I drive it across the Ferry. Everybody asks the usual questions about it, so I made up a flyer of info I can hand out. (http://www.CasaDelGato.Com/EV/SparrowFlyer.pdf)

The Heater/Defogger fan was rather anemic when I got the car, so I had to do some repairs and changes to it. |

I made battery heaters to keep them warm in the winter. |

I installed a full set of Rudman MKII Regulators. |

The bearings in the rear axle failed in October 2002, so I had the axle rebuilt. It was NOT easy figuring it out, but a local machine shop did the work for me. I also had to replace the press-fit hub center, as it melted while being removed. (very low temp alloy!) |
I rolled it onto it's side on 5/6/02. http://www.CasaDelGato.Com/EV/Sparrow/SparrowCrash.html
