This display board works with one or more of the Battery Monitor boards to bring the battery state indicators near the driver. This allows you to mount the Battery Monitors near the batteries, thus reducing wiring problems, and keeping pack voltage out of the cabin. This unit will also turn on a 12v low power device (such as a light or buzzer) when the Low Now battery indicator is turned on by one or more of the battery monitor boards. A buzzer is suggested as this is a good way to make sure the driver notices that there is a problem with a battery, and to take whatever action is needed to prevent damaging one. (Like lifting your foot off the accelerator!) This uses the Bus configuration of the Battery Monitor. Each Monitor has a cable to the next Monitor, and at the end of the chain, a single cable runs to the Mini Display.
Note: This unit is only provided as a kit, as the placement of the LED’s is likely to be someplace other than on the PC board! It’s also a very simple kit to assemble. (2 LED’s, 2 resistors, 1 jack, and 2 or 4 wires.) The PC Board is only 1.1” x 0.7”
