I got Eiger (and Tiva) in 2007 from a guy that had lost his income and could no longer take care of them. Eiger was blind in one eye, and developed rather severe arthritis. In general though, he was a lap-cat. whenever I went into his cage and set down on the deck, he'd come over, flop into my lap and start purring.

I got Tiva (and Eiger) in 2007 from a guy that had lost his income and could no longer take care of them. Tiva was just a nice cat. Liked getting petted, and was generally friendly. She had a problem where she started large matts in her fur, so I got a cordless dog shaver, and would go in and shave matts off her - she would be purring the whole time.

I got Homer (and Craiger) in 2009 from from a couple that had to get them away from a new neighbor that was trying to hurt them. Homer was a generally nice cat, though he tended to nip if you weren't careful. (and that hurts!) He had some odd health problems, and passed away far too young.
I got Craiger (and Homer) in 2009 from from a couple that had to get them away from a new neighbor that was trying to hurt them.Admittedly, Craiger was NOT a nice cat. Any vet care required sedating him. Dangerous and not handleable. Mostly due to him being originaly owned by somebody in a place where it was illegal to have these cats. He was confiscated, and placed with a re-habber, but was too old to be rehabbed. While at that place, the wolves in the next cage somehow ripped off half his tail. I gave him a safe and peaceful retirement home.
